Calf Max 16% Pellets have been designed for growing calves once they have started eating pasture, allowing farmers to capitalise on gains made from feeding Calf Max 20% Pellets. It helps mitigate any post-weaning growth check and can also be offered to older replacement heifers to maintain physical condition when forage supply is limited.

Feed recommendations: 

• • Wean calves off milk gradually at a minimum of 6 weeks of age and 65–85 kg depending on the calf size and breed. Continue to feed SealesWinslow calf feed for 1–2 months after weaning off milk. 
  • Offer fresh pellets daily. If fed in troughs, clean these out frequently. 
  • Ensure calves always have unlimited clean drinking water and roughage (hay or straw), especially when housed or grazing is limited or very leafy. 
  • May be used for older calves experiencing a feed pinch if coccidiosis is a concern. 
  • Introduce gradually if calves are not eating grain-based feed at the time of introduction
