The Sheep Mineral Block is a convenient, cost effective and tasty way to supply essential minerals and energy to sheep at any time when nutrient requirements are elevated, such as immediately pre / post lambing and tupping.
It is ideal for use when nutrient requirements are high or if pasture quality is poor to aid in the efficiency of feed conversion.
Sheep Mineral Block is easily supported in the following systems:
• Ideal in supplementation post weaned lambs
• Used to support mineral requirements in rams, pre-tupping
• Mineral supplementation over winter for lambs, ewes to support foetal growth
Place blocks in paddocks at a ratio of:
- 1 x 25 kg blocks for every 50 sheep
Always have a minimum of 2 blocks to ensure all animals in the mob have access.
Typical intake
- 15 – 30 g/head/day
