Feed Recommendations
Typically, calves can be weaned from milk when consuming 1kg per head per day for 3 consecutive days. Continue to offer pellets to calves post-weaning, to help maintain growth during the transition to an all-grass diet. 16% Value Calf is ideal for this purpose.
16% Value Calf is typically fed at 1-2 kg/head/day post weaning.
Always give calves access to clean drinking water and roughage such as quality hay or straw.
