Calving Brings a New Face to SealesWinslow
As the calving season gets underway, SealesWinslow’s newest Technical Sales Representative, Ange Redman, is set to bring her passion and expertise to support farmers during this pivotal time.
Supporting farmers in the Hauraki Plains and Coromandel regions, Ange lives on the outskirts of Cambridge on a lifestyle block with her husband Baden and their two adult children. With a solid background that includes 13 years at Skellerup working between Kaitaia and Taupō, followed by a stint in equine health and nutrition, Ange joined SealesWinslow in June 2024, eager to return to the dairy industry she loves.
“I joined SealesWinslow because I missed the dairy industry. It’s a great industry to be in and I’m passionate about it,” says Ange.
Ange’s interest in animal nutrition runs deep. Growing up in a farming town, she honed her skills in the equine industry attending the local pony club. Her extensive background made her a perfect fit for SealesWinslow, a company she believes has a reputation for excellence in animal nutrition and robust support system for both farmers and staff.
“I love the fact that you can make a difference through education, and I chose SealesWinslow because they are known to have that expert knowledge and the training is just phenomenal,” says Ange.
With calving season underway for many of her customers, Ange is already busy helping farmers secure bulk feed contracts and preparing their calf nutrition plans. She thrives on being out in the field, solving challenges, and helping farmers lift their herd’s productivity.
“Calf rearing season is such a critical time to set calves up to become the most efficient members of a milking herd,” she says. “I love being out on a farm helping farmers solve challenges and improve the productivity of their businesses.”
Ange is particularly excited about SealesWinslow’s new Ruminix³ tool, which helps farmers pinpoint the most effective nutrition strategies for their specific operations.
“I love how we can tailor personal nutrition solutions for every farmer depending on their needs. You never feel like you’re on your own either as there’s a whole SealesWinslow team you can go to for expertise or to help with questions,” she adds.
When she’s not working, Ange enjoys spending time with her family and indulging in her passion for horse riding. She often goes trekking with friends on her two horses, exploring the picturesque farms around her home.
Ange has hit the ground running, bringing her enthusiasm and expertise to SealesWinslow and making sure farmers have the best support and nutrition strategies as they head into calving.
