Nutrition & Quality Manager
Natalie Hughes

Senior Leadership Team

Natalie’s philosophy is “It all starts at the grass roots”. Starting with what an animal is eating and the quality of that feed is the basis for great production.

Natalie has taken the same approach to her own skill set. Her passion for further expanding her knowledge is evident in her educational history.

Natalie has both a Diploma in Agriculture and her bachelors in Agricultural Science from Lincoln University. She has been awarded AARN by examination, which is a Ruminant Nutrition qualification in Australia, she has completed a Calf and Heifer course as well as Transition Cow Management through Cornell University and Advanced Ruminant Genetics through Penn State University.

To aid in supporting farmers with interest spiking in the environmental space, she has completed both the Intermediate and Advanced Sustainable Nutrient Management courses through Massey University.

Natalie also has very high expectations with regards to quality and nutrition. As the Nutrition and Quality Manager for SealesWinslow Natalie carries out the feed formulations, looks after the quality systems, and supports the technical development for the national sales team.  Her love of ruminant animals, further education and connecting with others are her key passions.

Ryan Scholes

Leadership Team

Before joining SealesWinslow in 2010, Ryan was with Anexa Animal Health. Having worked closely with dairy farmers for almost a decade, Ryan has a good grasp of what it takes to be successful in the dairy industry.

Ryan is passionate about helping local farmers improve the health and performance of their herds in the Matamata, South Waikato and Waihi areas.

Darryn McDonnell

Leadership Team

Darryn has a wide range of experience in production and operations roles from a 16 year period at George Weston Foods and Weston Animal Nutrition. 

He joined SealesWinslow (Ashburton site) in late 2012 as the Operations Manager and in August 2016, relocated to the North Island as Regional Manager for our central region.

Darryn’s an avid communicator who’s passionate about building a team with a strong customer focus. Darryn and his family live on a small lifestyle block near Whanganui.

Tyler Stuthridge

Leadership Team

Tyler was born and bred in Ashburton and having completed his training at local business RX Plastics, Tyler is a qualified engineer.

Tyler joined SealesWinslow (Ashburton site) in May 2013 as an engineer and quickly emerged as a natural leader. Tyler became the site Operations Manager in December 2016 and was promoted to Regional Manager in July 2017.

Tyler is passionate about running a quality driven site. When he’s not working, Tyler enjoys motor cross and trail bike riding.

Nardia Crosby

Senior Leadership Team

Prior to joining SealesWinslow in 2013 Nardia spent 12 years working in the United Kingdom with Banking, Communications and Research and Development customers as a Service Delivery Manager, ensuring that business processes and customer and IT services ran smoothly. Back in New Zealand, Nardia worked for a short time project managing scientific research work for a respected NZ forestry based research institution.

Nardia is passionate about continuous improvement and using technology effectively to develop processes that ensure swift and efficient service to customers while future proofing the support we can offer.

Bruce Harris

Senior Leadership Team

Bruce has a life long association with farming having attained the top performing supplier to Northland Dairy in the mid 1990’s. As a qualified accountant Bruce spent fifteen years in public practice in Whangarei and a further fifteen years with Ballance more recent taking up the role of Commercial Manager with SealesWinslow.

Bruce attained a MBA (Master of Business Administration) from the University of Waikato in 2010 and has been a qualified accountant for 27 years.

Bruce is very passionate about people and businesses performing to their maximum potential focusing on developing people to drive the best performance from the business ensuring the business is attaining its strategic goals.

Rhiannon Kelsey

Senior Leadership Team

Rhiannon is a Chartered Accountant with a strong audit background and experience in the Oil and Gas industry as well as local government.  Having joined SealesWinslow in 2018, Rhiannon is based in Morrinsville and provides valuable commercial analysis and insights across the business. 

Originally from Taranaki, Rhiannon has become a local of the Waikato area, graduating from the University of Waikato in 2007. Rhiannon and her husband now reside in rural Waikato, raising their young family.

Mark Williams

Leadership Team

Mark comes from a sales and logistics background managing up to 70 staff in a manufacturing plant.
Mark was looking for employment close to home, after him and his wife moved to Morrinsville three years ago.  Mark decided that as the parent company of SealesWinslow is Ballance Agri-nutrients, known to be a great place to work, joined the SealesWinslow team as Morrinsville site manager.
Within his first year with SealesWinslow, Mark has been promoted to Regional Manager Northern. He is working towards identifying and developing talent within SealesWinslow.  He loves to see people grow and is thoroughly enjoying getting to know and to work with the Morrinsville and wider SealesWinslow teams.
Mark and Maureen have two sons and four grandchildren living in the Waikato area, so not too far to go and visit in their 1938 Chevy Flatback.

Kate van den Berg

After a number of financial roles in England, Kate migrated to NZ in 2007 and is both a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Management Accountant. After 8 years working in a tertiary education provider and 5 years in the Electricity industry, Kate joined SealesWinslow in 2020.

Kate manages the finance team based in Morrinsville. Kate and her family love the country life in rural west Waikato and have plenty of animals to show for it.

Marlena Dance

Leadership Team

Marlena Dance started with the company in August 2020 & enjoys working with a dynamic team of Merchant & Customer Service Representatives.  Starting in her first leadership role in her early twenties, a strong retail and sales background saw growth into various different roles.

Roles such as Store Management, Training Management, Area Management, Regional Management, and these days as SealesWinslow’s Merchant & Customer Service Manager.  Mars (as we know her) has always had a passion for outstanding service & takes pride in seeing success through others. 

Marlena has attained a BSc (Bachelor of Science) through The University of Waikato in 2006.  Having studied and worked in Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton… Marlena returned home to the Sunny Bay of Plenty, and loves the ‘down to earth approach’ of our SealesWinslow colleagues and customers.

Grant Jackson

Senior Leadership Team

Grant has a strong track record in the agri-sector with over 20 years in leadership roles with Miraka, LIC, BNZ and Summit Quinphos.

Grant qualified with a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) from Lincoln University, and has undertaken post graduate studies across leadership and governance, including being a Kellogg Rural Leadership Scholar.  Grant began his career in nutrient sales with Summit Quinphos before moving to be an agri-business partner with the BNZ.   Subsequent to this Grant led the Southern Regional sales team for LIC before relocating to Taupo with his family for seven years as the GM Supply at Miraka.

Grant has significant experience in shaping and leading high performing teams, unlocking value and increasing returns.  He is looking forward to leading the Seales Winslow business as it delivers continued profitable growth.

Outside work, Grant enjoys mountain biking, hiking our great national walks and boating with his family. He has three boys aged 6,8 and 10 and a daughter about to start university. He also coaches two of his boys rugby teams and is an active member of the Taupō business community - including as a director of the Taupō Economic Development Agency.
